40 Series tires
I would like to know how many of you guys are running or were running 40 series tires on your BL monster trucks. (e-maxx, e-revo, flux, etc). I have both normal size tires and a set of 40 series Moabs. I have my Emaxx all torn down for the winter months, doing a rebuild and can't makeup my mind if I want to put the 40 series back on or not. I like the height they give me but I am convinced that they take a large part in my drivetrain problems, (more rotating mass). Just wanted to get some opinions on what you guys are running and if anyone switched and then went back. E-LST has 40 series Losi stockers, but the Emaxx has stock Maxx paddles (3.8 in dia.) for winter snow and 40 series Bow-tie MT's (discontinued) for dirt and grass they are very light and low profile for a 40 series tire. I try to run as light a tire as possible. Moabs and XL's are more of a crawler tire in my opinion. They slip too much in grass for me and are quite heavy....
