Costumed Eagles entertain Children's Hospital patients | Philadelphia Inquirer ...

Warren Archibald, a 15-year-old from Denver, Pa., needed crutches. But he said he wouldn't have missed the opportunity to meet players from the team he roots for every Sunday.

"I've liked the Eagles for three years now," Archibald said. "I still believe they're going to have a good season."

The 2-4 Eagles, coming off their bye week, host the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys in a crucial game Sunday. Even so, the players spent some of their day off giving back to the community.

"It's fun to come out and do it and see that they're going through some things in the hospital," Asomugha said. "You just want to brighten up their day."

Asomugha arrived wearing his own glasses, not Harry Potter's trademark oval specs. He was handed a gold-and-maroon scarf and hat along with a broomstick to dress up as the young wizard. Many of the young patients couldn't identify the costume he was wearing.

Asomugha said he didn't celebrate Halloween very often growing up in Southern California.
