CHRIS HUGHTON admits the odds are stacked against Birmingham when they take on Group H heavyweights Braga in Portugal tonight.

But he believes his bruised Blues brothers are capable of producing some of their best Europa League displays when they are on the ropes.

Last year's finalists Braga are brimming with confidence after taking care of Hughton's men 3-1 in Birmingham to become the first visiting team to win a European tie at St Andrew's.

Leonardo Jardim's side need a victory tonight to confirm their place in the knockout stages.

They have beaten Portsmouth 3-0, Arsenal 2-0 and Liverpool 1-0 in their last three home ties against English sides.

Hughton, who was already without defender Liam Ridgewell and midfielder Jordon Mutch, then had to leave injured skipper Stephen Carr in the Midlands yesterday.

Birmingham are level with Braga and Club Brugge on seven points.

And Hughton wants another heroic display.

Vintage 50′s 60′s Era Mad Men Tie Blues Brothers Cool Skinny Tight ...

I'm listing a group of fantastic hand picked men's neckties from the 1950's and 1960's. The pictures stand by themselves. These ties are in very good condition, no odors, tears, rips, etc. I do not believe they have any stains, as I have looked thoroughly and cannot find any myself. I mention this because sometime you go snowblind looking at the patterns and textures. If there is a stain, it is very subtle, I will say that. Also, other than maybe some creasing or folds in these ties, they are in very good vintage condition. The materials vary between acetate, rayon, polyester, and other more unusual fibers. If you need more specifics or want to see some more photos let me know. Good luck!

The necktie, or simply tie, has been around for hundreds of years.  Its names and styles have changed over the years, but when it comes right down to it, they’re just a piece of fabric tie around the neck.  December is National Tie Month, so what better time to look at its beginning, how it changed over the years, and the possible future of this fashion accessory.

The first ties were seen during the Thirty Years’ War in the early to mid 1600s when Croatian soldiers wore small, knotted neckerchiefs while in the service of the French.  Europeans called them cravats from the Croatian word croats .  The cravat became a fashion craze in Europe worn by both men and women.  Not sure what a cravat looks like?  Check out the one dollar bill; George Washington is sporting a cravat in his portrait.
